Abstract Process and apparatus for avoiding the blowing-out of the water seal of constant-pressure air reservoir in- stallations for gas turbine power stations, the water layer which is close to the surface in the cavern, and is en- riched in dissolved air, being drawn off by suction, via a system of pipes, and being conveyed, through a deaerating device, into that layer of the compensating basin which is close to the surface.
