A device suitable for supplying a gaseous fuel to an internal combustion engine comprising combustion chambers, which device is provided with an evaporator (3) and with a metering device (5), said metering device (5) on an inlet side being in communication with an evaporating chamber (13) disposed within the evaporator (3). On an outlet side, the metering device (5) is provided with a main pipe, said main pipe after said metering device branching into a number of pipes (63) connected to the individual combustion chambers. Each pipe (63) is provided with a predetermined local constriction (65), across which at least 85 % of the pressure drop from the division of the main pipe into the individual pipes to the combustion chambers takes place, whereby the differences in the flow resistances of the local constrictions of the individual pipes are 5 % at most.

Dispositif pour l'alimentation en carburant gazeux d'un moteur à explosion comportant des chambres de combustion. Ce dispositif est pourvu d'un évaporateur (3) et d'un dispositif de dosage (5), le côté entrée de ce dernier (5) étant en communication avec une chambre d'évaporation (13) à l'intérieur de l'évaporateur (3). Le dispositif de dosage (5) est pourvu, du côté sortie, d'un tuyau principal qui se divise, en aval dudit dispositif de dosage, en plusieurs tuyaux (63) débouchant dans les chambres de combustion individuelles. Chaque tuyau (63) est pourvu d'un étranglement local (65) déterminé entre les deux côtés duquel se produit au moins 85 % de la chute de pression entre le point où le tuyau principal se divise en tuyaux individuels, et lesdites chambres de combustion, de sorte que les différences entre les résistances à l'écoulement des étranglements locaux des tuyaux individuels soient de 5 % au maximum.
