ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a longiform gasket, composed of an outer envelope stuffed with at least one stuffing element, wherein, the outer envelope being a textile sheath, the stuffing element consists of a narrow non-woven web having a mean thickness of at least 5 mm. The invention also relates to a process for manufacturing such a gasket.
