The present invention is in the fields of medicine, public health, immunology, molecular biology and virology. The present invention provides, inter alia, a composition comprising a virus-like particle (VLP) and at least one antigen, wherein said antigen is a GIP protein or a GIP fragment linked to the VLP respectively. The invention also provides a method for producing the aforesaid composition. The compositions of this invention are useful in the production of vaccines, in particular, for the prevention and/or treatment of obesity and hereby, in particular, by inducing efficient immune responses, in particular antibody responses. Furthermore, the compositions of the invention are particularly useful to efficiently induce self-specific immune responses within the indicated context.
La présente invention concerne les domaines de la médecine, de la santé publique, de l'immunologie, de la biologie moléculaire et de la virologie. La présente invention concerne, entre autres, une composition contenant une particule de type virus et au moins un antigène, ledit antigène étant une protéine de polypeptide inhibiteur gastrique ou un fragment de polypeptide inhibiteur gastrique lié à la particule de type virus. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de ladite composition. Les compositions selon l'invention servent à la fabrication de vaccins notamment destinés à la prévention et/ou au traitement de l'obésité par déclenchement de réactions immunitaires efficaces, en particulier des réponses d'anticorps. Les compositions selon l'invention sont notamment destinées à déclencher de façon fiable des réponses immunitaires auto-spécifiques dans le contexte donné.
