23724-158 Abstract The gear hand lever (1) is rotatably mounted on a hous- ing (5) which is fixed to a casement piece (17). A connecting rod hardware actuated via the gear hand lever is coupled to a dog (14) on a slide (13) mounted in the housing to be movable in the longitudinal direction. The slide is provided with a guide groove (12) which engages a follower pin (9) of an eccentric (8) con- nected to the handle. The alignment of the midpoint of the gear hand lever to the midpoint of the follower pin (9) is perpendicu- lar to the longitudinal center line of the guide groove (12) of the slide (13) in the end positions lying in an angular distance of 180° and which correspond respectively to the closing and tilting position of the window casement.
