Abstract of the Disclosure A two stage mixing gear pump for dispersing a gas into a liquid wherein a metered quantity of liquid from the first stage of the pump is supplied to gas filled inter tooth spaces of the second stage pump. The gas is introduced into the inter tooth spaces of the second stage of the pump through a gas inlet which is adjacent the low pressure side of the gear teeth meshing zone ox the second stage of the pump and the liquid enters the gas containing inter tooth spaces downstream of the gas inlet.
