ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Soil-injection agents, on an alkali-metal silicate base and containing, as a gelling agent, trialkoxysilanes, are adjusted to optimal gelling times and gelling properties by the addition of acid alkali-metal- or ammonium-phosphates and/ or phosphoric acid. The addition improves the sealing and stabilizing effect of the gels and makes it possible to reduce the proportion of silane without impairing the resistance of the gels to pollutants.
