ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A new gel product for exterminating harmful marine organisms is provided comprising (a) about 1 to 25% by weight of a natural high molecular weight compound capable of forming a gel in water, (b) about 5 to 30% by weight of an agent for exterminating harmful marine organisms, (c) about 1 to 25% by weight of at least one compound selected from the group consist- ing of a water soluble synthetic linear polymer, an inorganic material, a surfactant, an organic solvent, a gel-modifier, and mixtures thereof, and (d) water.
