GELATION STABILIZED WATER-SOLUBLE SILICATES Abstract of the Disclosure Gelation resistant alcohol compositions containing water-soluble silicates are obtained by the use of effective silicate gelation stabilizing amounts of at least one of a polymer of acrylic acid, alkaline earth metal and alkaline earth metal salts thereof; a sugar alcohol; and a water- soluble salt of molybdic, tungstic, or selenic acids.
