The present invention relates to nucleic acid sequences which have a transcriptional promoter activity preferentially in the phloem of plants under conditions of stress, or in the roots, to derived sequences, to constructs containing such sequences, and also to cells transformed with said constructs and to transgenic plants. The present invention makes it possible to place any transgene under the transcriptional control of a promoter, the activity of which is tissue-specific, organ-specific and/or inducible by environmental factors, such as biotic or abiotic stresses.
La présente invention concerne des séquences d'acides nucléiques présentant une activité de promoteur transcriptionnel préférentiellement dans le phloème de plantes en conditions de stress, ou dans les racines, des séquences dérivées, des construits contenant de telles séquences ainsi que des cellules transformées par lesdits construits et des plantes transgéniques. La présente invention permet de mettre un quelconque transgène sous le contrôle transcriptionnel d'un promoteur dont l'activité est tissu-spécifique, organe- spécifique et/ou inductibles par des facteurs environnementaux, tels que des stress biotiques ou abiotiques.
