The present invention provides arrays comprising a plurality of polynucleotide probes having sequences complementary to the 3' untranslated region of a gene transcript, whose chromosomal location has been defined. The arrays are particularly useful for conducting comparative gene expression analyses. The present invention also includes a method of preparing these arrays and various methods of using these arrays for detecting differential expression for multiple gene transcripts amongst multiple subjects. Further provided by the invention are computer readable media recorded thereon an array of polynucleotide probes as specified herein, a computer-based system, and kits for detecting differential expression of a multiplicity of gene transcripts.
La présente invention concerne des réseaux comportant un groupe de plusieurs sondes polynucléotidiques présentant des séquences complémentaires de la région 3' non traduite d'un produit de transcription génétique, dont la position chromosomique a été définie. Ces réseaux sont particulièrement utilisés dans les analyses d'expression génétique comparative. En outre, cette invention concerne un procédé de préparation de ces réseaux et des procédés variés d'utilisation de ces réseaux pour détecter l'expression différentielle de produits de transcription génétiques multiples, entre autres nombreux sujets. Par ailleurs, cette invention concerne un support lisible par ordinateur sur lequel est enregistré un réseau de sondes polynucléotidiques tel qu'il a été spécifié plus haut, un système informatisé, et des kits de détection de l'expression différentielle d'une multitude de produits de transcription génétique.
