It is intended to provide a gene trap system by which any genes including a transiently expressed gene can be trapped. A gene is trapped by a trap vector using Cre recombinase gene from bacteriophage P1 and the expression of the thus trapped gene is converted into constitutional expression of another reporter gene.

L'invention a trait à un système de piège à gènes permettant de piéger n'importe quels gènes, y compris un gène exprimé de manière transitoire. Un gène est piégé par un vecteur de piégeage faisant appel au gène de la recombinase Cre issu d'un bactériophage P1, et l'expression du gène ainsi piégé est convertie en l'expression constitutionnelle d'un autre gène rapporteur.
