ABSTRACT An electromagnetic yoke structure of E-shaped configuration has its pole defining legs extending between the gaps of an unaltered roller track on which a casting is withdrawn. The yoke is covered by an antimagnet- ic hood and can be moved hydraulically to adjust the space between the legs and the casting.
