A coating dispensing device (20) includes a trigger assembly (26) for actuating the coating dispensing device to dispense coating material and a nozzle (30) through which the coating material is dispensed. The device further includes a first port adapted to supply compressed gas to the coating dispensing device and a second port adapted to supply coating material to the coating dispensing device. The device further includes a multi-phase generator (38) having a shaft. A turbine wheel (40) is mounted on the shaft. Compressed gas coupled to the first port impinges upon the turbine wheel to spin the shaft, producing multi-phase voltage. The device further includes an electrode (62) adjacent the nozzle and coupled to the multi-phase generator to receive electricity therefrom to electrostatically charge the coating material.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de distribution de revêtement (20) qui comprend un ensemble détente (26) pour actionner ledit dispositif et amener ce dernier à distribuer un matériau de revêtement ainsi qu'une buse (30) à travers laquelle le matériau de revêtement est distribué. Le dispositif comprend également un premier orifice conçu pour fournir du gaz comprimé au dispositif et un deuxième orifice conçu pour fournir un matériau de revêtement au dispositif. Le dispositif comprend en outre un générateur polyphasé (38) dans lequel est monté un arbre. Une roue (40) de turbine est montée sur l'arbre. Le gaz comprimé injecté dans le premier orifice entre en contact avec la roue de turbine pour faire tourner l'arbre, ce qui produit une tension polyphasée. Enfin, le dispositif comprend une électrode (62) adjacente à la buse et couplée au générateur polyphasé pour recevoir de l'électricité depuis celui-ci afin de charger électrostatiquement le matériau de revêtement.
