An improved agglutination immunoassay is characterized by reacting a sample fluid which may contain an analyte with a generic antibody conjugated to latex particles and then adding an antibody specific to the analyte to be determined. Agglutination resulting from adding the antibody specific to the analyte is measured and correlated with the amount of analyte in the sample.

L'invention concerne un immuno-essai d'agglutination amélioré caractérisé en ce qu'il fait réagir un flux d'échantillon, susceptible de contenir une substance à analyser, avec un anticorps général conjugué à des particules de latex et en ce qu'il ajoute un anticorps spécifique à la substance à analyser à déterminer. L'agglutination obtenue par l'addition de l'anticorps spécifique à la substance à analyser est mesurée et mise en corrélation avec la quantité de substance à analyser dans l'échantillon.
