The invention provides a method for the genetic analysis of biological samples after generation and expansion of subsets representing their nucleic acids. Each subset contains a characteristic but arbitrarily selected representation. Different subsets display complementary representations. The method is specially suitable for the study of gene expression profiles. The subgrouping is done by RNA arbitrarily primed PCR (RAP-PCR).
L'invention concerne une méthode d'analyse génétique d'échantillons biologiques après une génération et un élargissement de sous-ensembles représentant leurs acides nucléiques. Chaque sous-ensemble contient une représentation sélectionnée caractéristique mais arbitraire. Des sous-ensembles différents présentent des représentations complémentaires. Cette méthode est spécialement appropriée à l'étude de profils d'expression génique.
