The invention provides a method, referred to as genomic profiling, which simultaneously scans a complex biological sample for the presence of nucleic acid sequences (including genomic difference sequences, group-specific sequences, and DNA polymorphisms) that are diagnostic of numerous different types of organisms. Also included in the invention are probes, detection ensembles, and related molecules for use in the methods of the invention.

Cette invention concerne un procédé dit d'établissement de profil génomique qui permet d'analyser simultanément un échantillon biologique complexe afin de déceler la présence de séquences d'acides nucléiques (y compris des séquences de différence génomique, des séquences spécifiques à des groupes et des polymorphismes d'ADN) qui sont diagnostiques de nombreux type d'organismes différents. Cette invention concerne également des sondes, des ensembles de détection ainsi que des molécules s'y rapportant que l'on utilise dans ces procédés.
