ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A geothermal well head assembly that is so operatively associated with the production string of cas- ing in a well bore that the string of casing may expand and contract longitudinally without placing any substan- tial strain on the assembly. The geothermal well head assembly is also of such structure that interior compon- ents thereof that may be damaged due to the abrasive action of high velocity pressurized geothermal fluid may be withdrawn from the assembly for maintenance or replace- ment without shutting down the geothermal well. Also the geothermal well head assembly is of such structure that it may be operated either manually or by pressurized fluid.
