ABSTRACT Disclosed is a process and product by process for curing a fiber impregnated with a thermoset polymer that has been shaped or molded to form an article. The article once shaped or molded is placed in a pressure chamber and the pressure chamber is packed with lubri- cated beads. By application of both heat and pressure, the shaped or molded article is cured to impart rigidity to said article. Further, disclosed is a process and product by process for heat-shaping fiber-reinforced thermoplastics in the presence or absence of a mold utilizing heat and pressure.
