A glass cutting tool having a circular platen (18) rotatable in a recess in a base (12). The platen (18) has a series of concentric markings and also grid markings (22) to facilitate alignment of a sheet of glass thereon. The platen and the base have a plurality of holes therein for the mounting of locating pins, straight edges (30) and clamps.
