The invention concerns a glass frame whereof the cross-section has a substantially polygonal contour comprising a reentrant angle, designed to maintain apart two planar substrates at their periphery. The invention concerns in particular the uses of such a frame for maintaining a space between two glass sheets for producing planar and sealed glass envelopes such as field emission displays.
L'invention a pour objet un cadre en verre dont la section présente un contour sensiblement polygonal comprenant au moins un angle rentrant, destiné à maintenir séparé deux substrats plans à leur périphérie. L'invention concerne notamment des applications d'un tel cadre pour maintenir un espace entre deux feuilles de verre dans la réalisation d'enveloppes en verre planes et hermétiques telles que des écrans à émission de champ.
