A glass holder for stemware comprising a food plate and an extension to a side thereof integral with the food plate, the extension containing a narrow slot having width wider than a stem of the stemware and narrower than a container portion of the stemware, the slot being sufficiently long as to allow regions of the extension peripheral to the slot to support the container portion of the stemware when the stemware is inserted in the slot.
