FORM 24 ABSTRACT Machines that an operator uses to gain access under vehicles without raising them off of the ground consist of platform under which wheels are mounted. In this invention wheels of various diameters and widths can be used without raising the height of the platform and that of the operator. An increase in platform height would result if larger wheels were mounted in a conventional manner preventing access under many vehicles. In this invention wheels are mounted at the end of bars attached to the platform that are angled and extend out widthwise from the platform and upward from the height of the platform to provide a mounting point for large wheels outside the platform itself. This allows wheels to be used that will not be impeded in their operation on irregular surfaces, surfaces with debris on them, unpaved and non-compacted surfaces. The particular angle, dimensions, attachment points and shape of the bars are modified to accomidate the wheel chosen for a particular surface while maintaining the machines low platform height. Modification in the platform shape and width at the bar attachment site is required as well to minimize machine width and to provide for unimpeded wheel operation. SPECIFICATION
