2071945 9109777 PCTABS00005 A glider (10), comprising a tubular body (12) open at each end and having a leading edge (14) and a trailing edge (16), has a two-ring frame (18) disposed about the perimeter of the leading edge (14) to provide body shape and rigidity. A two-ring frame (18) assembly comprises a base ring (20) and a clamping ring (22) configured to matingly engage the base ring (20). The base ring (20) is placed about the inner perimeter of the leading edge (14) of the tubular body (12) and the clamping ring (22) is placeable about the outer perimeter of the leading edge (14) of the tubular body (12) to retain the tubular body (12) between the base ring (20) and the clamping ring (22) when the rings are matingly engaged.
