A skid plate comprising a core material (11) having a rectangular or trapezoidal corrugating medium material (13) extending in a lengthwise direction, and flat plates (14, 15) bonded to upper and lower surfaces of the corrugating medium material (13). While the skid plate is equivalent to a prior art one in out-of-plane flexural rigidity in the lengthwise direction, it is small in a ratio of torsional rigidity to out-of-plane flexural rigidity and is large in out-of-plane flexural rigidity in a widthwise direction.

L'invention porte sur une latte de ski comportant une âme (11) faite d'un matériau (13) à ondulations rectangulaires ou trapézoïdales s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal, et des plaques planes (14, 15) collées aux surfaces supérieures et inférieures du matériau ondulé (13). Alors que la latte présente une rigidité hors plans à la flexion longitudinale identique à celle des réalisations antérieures, elle présente un faible rapport rigidité à la torsion/rigidité hors plan à la flexion, tandis que son rapport rigidité hors plan à la flexion/rigidité hors plan à la flexion transversale est élevé.
