Protein of plant origin - 11S globulin. It is characterized by being derived from seeds of a plant species, expressed in the seed and in no vegetative tissue of the plant, and appearing quickly during the early phases (imbibition) of germination and seed pregermination processes. May be used in agriculture as a molecular marker to determine the seed germination stage and to monitor seed treatment processes (pregermination) on a continuous basis.

Elle est caractérisé en ce qu'elle est issue de semences d'une espèce de culture végétale, exprimée chez les semences et dans aucun tissu végétatif de la plante, et apparaissant rapidement au cours des phases precoces (imbibition) de la germination et des procédés de pré-germination des semences. Utilisable en agriculture comme marqueur moléculaire pour la détermination du stade de germination de semences et pour suivre en continu le déroulement des procédés de traitements de semences (pré-germination).
