A holder for holding a glove readily accessible to a user, where the glove has securing portions for mating to secure the glove on the user's hand. The holder includes a base and a fastening portion coupled to the base for cooperating with the securing portions such that one of the securing portions can be releasably fastened to the fastening portion. The holder also includes a connecting assembly extending from the base, for releasably connecting the base to the user's clothing.
