ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides an AC glow discharge heating apparatus comprising a pair of electrodes opposing each other through a predetermined gap, and means for applying an AC voltage across said pair of electrodes to cause a glow discharge across said gap and a heated liquid heated with energy that enters heat into said pair of electrodes wherein said pair of electrodes are disposed to oppose each other on end surfaces formed into the substantially same shape while being supported only on one portion of said electrodes.
