ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a glue-roller for use in a labelling machine, in which the roller is arranged upon a hollow shaft that is concentric with the drive shaft by means of axially displaced bearings that permit radial dis- placement of the surface of the roller in relation to the hollow shaft. The drive shaft is positively coupled to the roller in the peripheral direction. Thus, optimal engagement of gear wheels that drive the glue-roller is retained while adjustment of the surface of the roller in relation to glue applicators is permitted.
