The present invention relates to a marker for nuclear restoration of cytoplasmic male sterility, and more particularly to the use of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase complementary DNA as such a marker. There is provided a gene for nuclear restoration of cytoplamic male sterility, and more particularly to the use of a form of the gene encoding glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase for this purpose. Finally, there is provided a method for the production of restorer lines directly through genetic transformation of plants with such a gene.
L'invention porte sur un marqueur servant à la restauration nucléaire de la stérilité mâle du cytoplasme, et plus particulièrement sur l'utilisation de l'ADN complémentaire de la glycéraldéhyde-3-phosphate déshydrogénase, sur un gène de restauration nucléaire de la stérilité mâle du cytoplasme et plus particulièrement sur l'utilisation d'une forme de gène codant pour la glycéraldéhyde-3-phosphate déshydrogénase à cette fin, et enfin sur un procédé de production de lignes restauratrices directement par transformation génétique de plantes à l'aide dudit gène.
