PRECIS L'invention concerne de nouveaux polyéthers glycosylés répondant à la formule générale (I): Image (I) dans laquelle R désigne un radical alkyle, alkényle ou alkyl aryle en C10-C20, G désigne un radical C6H10O5 dérivé d'une hexose de formule C6H12O6, u désigne zéro ou 1; x désigne zéro ou un nombre entier ou décimal inférieur ou égal à 10; y désigne un nombre entier ou décimal égal ou inférieur à 10, sous réserve que 1 ? x + y ? 10; a, b, c et d, identiques ou différents désignent chacun zéro ou un nombre entier ou décimal inférieur ou égal à 5; sous réserve que: 1? a + b + c + d ? 5 et 0,7 ? Image ? 4; quand u désigne zéro, chacun de x, a, b désigne zéro, et y désigne un nombre entier ou décimal de 1,5 à 10, et quand R désigne alkylaryle chacun de u, x, a, b désigne zéro. Les composés selon l'invention sont utiles à titre d'agents de surface dans des compositions cosmétiques et pharmaceutiques.
