New immunological carrier systems, DNA encoding the same, and the use of these systems, are disclosed. The carrier systems include chimeric proteins which comprise a leukotoxin polypeptide fused to a selected GnRH multimer which consists essentially of at least one repeating GnRH decapepetide sequence, or at least one repeating unit of a sequence corresponding to at least one epitope of a selected GnRH molecule. Under the invention, the selected GnRH sequences may all be the same, or may correspond to different derivatives, analogues, variants or epitopes of GnRH so long as the GnRH sequences are capable of eliciting an immune response. The leukotoxin functions to increase the immunogenicity of the GnRH multimer fused thereto.
L'invention concerne de nouveaux systèmes vecteurs immunologiques, des ADN codant pour ceux-ci et l'utilisation de ces systèmes. Les systèmes vecteurs contiennent des protéines chimères constituées du polypeptide leucotoxine fusionné à un multimère sélectionné de la GnRH, constitué essentiellement d'au moins une séquence décapeptidique GnRH répétitive ou d'au moins une unité répétitive d'une séquence correspondant au moins à un épitope d'une molécule choisie de GnRH. Selon l'invention, les séquences sélectionnées de GnRH peuvent être toutes identiques, ou elles peuvent correspondre à différents dérivés, analogues, variantes ou épitopes de GnRH, pour autant que les séquences de GnRH soient capable de provoquer une réponse immune. La leucotoxine fonctionne pour augmenter le caractère immunogène du multimère de GnRH auquel elle est fusionnée.
