This is a devise for the goalie to use in the game of hockey for stopping the the puck from entering the net. The handle is of hickary wood or some other strong type of wood, the player as goalie takes hold of the handle of the goalie stick to move where necessary to stop the puck. This hockey stick is different at the base than regular goalie sticks because it is made of sponge rubber to soften the stop of the puck. Thus making unecessary to get down to stop the puck with his leg pads. Thus stopping a goal easier and more efficient.
