ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Gold free palladium silver alloys for dental prostheses, which can blend with dental ceramics without any change in colour and can be removed easily from the bed after casting, containing 45 to 80% wt palladium, 7 to 50% wt silver, 0 to 5%-wt gold, 0 to 2% wt platinum, 0 to 5% wt tin, 0 to 5% wt indium, 0 to 3% wt zinc, 0 to 2% wt copper, 0 to 1% wt wolfram, molybdenum and/or tantalum, 0 to 1% wt ruthenium, iridium and/or rhenium, 0 to 7% wt gallium, 0 to 5% wt cobalt, and 0 to 3% wt germanium, of which the elements gallium, cobalt, and germanium, at least two are present at a content of 2 to 9%-wt in the alloy.
