A golf bag (10) with a carrying handle (34) attached thereto and a pair of flexible supporting straps (14, 16). Each of the straps including one end (36, 36) connected to the bag in spaced relation to the handle and another end (36, 36) oriented adjacent the handle. Each another end including a connecting member (62) on the end thereof remote from the one end of the associated supporting strap. The connecting members being detachably connected to a connector plate (74). A retaining strap (90) extending between the connector plate and handle to enable the pair of supporting straps to extend over and support the golf bag from the shoulders (18, 20) of a person carrying the bag.

Sac de golf (10) pourvu d'une poignée portante (34) à laquelle sont fixées deux sangles (14, 16) de transport souples. Chaque sangle comprend une extrémité (36, 36) reliée au sac à distance par rapport à la poignée et une autre extrémité (36, 36) orientée jouxtant ladite poignée. Chacune des deux extrémités comporte un élément de fixation (62) à distance de l'extrémité de la sangle de transport associée.
