GOLF BAG SUPPORT STAND Abstract of the Disclosure A support stand for supporting a golf bag or the like. The stand comprises a clamp member attachable to the upper edge of the bag, and a pair of legs mounted on the clamp member for pivoting between retracted positions, wherein the legs are dis- posed adjacent the longitudinal axis of the bag, and extended positions wherein the bag and the two legs form a self-standing tripod. The two legs are constrained to pivot coordinately away from the bag and away from each other.
