GOLF BALL Abstract of the Disclosure A golf ball is provided with evenly and uniformly distributed dimples in a pattern which is governed by repeating polygons such as icosahedral triangles. The dimples are spherical in shape and the aspect ratio of all of the dimples is substantially constant, preferably 0.050. The largest dimples are located just inside the vertexes of the polygons, and the next largest dimples are located at the vertexes so that they are surrounded by the largest sized dimples.
