ABSTRACT The disclosed invention relates to golf balls having improved golf ball covers, as well as to formulations for use with these covers. The golf ball covers are formed from a lithium ionomer resin wherein up to about fifty percent by weight of the lithium ionomer resin has been replaced with one or more sodium ionomer resins. The golf ball covers have excellent durability.
