This invention is a device for indicating to the golfer the point of impact between the striking face of the golf club and the golf ball. The device is a thin layer of an opaque coating applied to the striking face of the golf club. Once the golfer strikes the golf ball with the coated club-face, a mark is left on the club-face indicating the point of contact between the golf ball and club-face. Said marking material is non-permanent and can be applied, re-applied and removed at will.
