-9- An improved golf ball marker is provided which comprises alignment notches or lines on the marker which can be used in conjunction with the alignment marks on a golf ball. A plurality of alignment lines are preferably provided so that the golfer can select the most appropriate line for use during replacement of the golf ball. A more accurate method of placing the golf ball on the intended target line is obtained.
