Abstract of the Disclosure A golf chipping practice apparatus is provided which includes a plurality of separate panels onto which balls are chipped. Each panel is divided into a plurality of target zones, including target holes. A plurality of sensors automatically detect where a ball lands and an automated scorekeeping device assigns a scoring value to each shot based on where it lands. The scorekeeping device generates a total score and determines when a round has been completed, based on a predetermined number of balls having landed on each panel. A golf chipping practice game suitable for the apparatus is also disclosed.
