A golf club head (12) having a defined internal cavity (28) containing a bi- material (70) weight having a nonhomogeneous structure is disclosed herein. A method to add the bi-material (70) weight to the golf club (12) is also disclosed as part of the present invention. The method includes heating, vibration and cooling to produce the nonhomogeneous structure of the weight within the internal cavity (28). The bi-material weight is preferably composed of a bismuth solder (60) and a plurality of tungsten spheres (54).

L'invention concerne une tête (12) de canne de golf présentant une cavité intérieure définie (28) contenant un poids à bimatériau (70) présentant une structure non homogène. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'addition du poids en bimatériau (70) à la canne de golf (12) faisant partie de la présente invention. Le procédé consiste en un chauffage, une vibration et un refroidissement afin de produire la structure non homogène du poids à l'intérieur de la cavité intérieure (28). Le poids en bimatériau est de préférence composé d'une brasure au bismuth (60) et d'une pluralité de sphères de tungstène (54).
