A golf club-distance selector, custom tuned by a golfer for personalized use, comprises a base disk, on which are successively and concentrically located an intermediary and windowed disk. After performing several golf shots with a selected club, shots which are characterized by the lengths the normal golf ball fly through the air, an average length value is estimated and identified on the base disk. This value is matched with the selected club inscribed on the intermediary disk. The base and intermediary disks are attached in the above position, thereby "locking" the selected golf club to the average length value, simultaneously "tailoring" all the other golf clubs to the individual's golf swing, thus personalizing the selector. An aperture is provided on the windowed disk, indicating a length, and a golf club, far normal playing conditions. Also indicated for the same length are other golf clubs for different playing conditions. The selector comprises the full range of golf clubs.
