A light weight and portable golf club face alignment training device for either a right of left handed golfer. The device is designed to be laid in front of a golfer positioned towards the intended target line. The device is comprised of a substantially flat mat with an open ended track which allows positioning of a golf ball inside the track. On both sides of the mat there are linear indicators in parallel to the intended target line. In addition, on both sides of the mat there is a plurality of indicators perpendicular to the intended target line providing visual guides for proper golf club face alignment during swing set up.
