A golf club head is formed of an alloy steel which comprises at most 0.2 wt.% of C, 0.05-1.0 wt.% of Si, at most 0.5 wt.% of Mn, 3.0-8.0 wt.% of Ni, 10.0-20.0 wt.% of Cr, 3.0-8.0 wt.% of Mo and 10.0-20.0 wt.% of Co, the remainder being substantially Fe, and has a metallic texture composed principally of martensite.

Cette invention concerne une tête de bâton de golf en acier allié comportant jusqu'à 0,2 % en masse de C, de 0,05 à 1,0 % en masse de Si, jusqu'à 0,5 % en masse de Mn, de 3,0 à 8,0 % en masse de Ni, de 10,0 à 20,0 % en masse de Cr, de 3,0 à 8,0 % en masse de Mo et de 10,0 à 20,0 % en masse de Co, le reste étant essentiellement du Fe, et caractérisée par une structure métallique principalement martensitique.
