A golf club head (11) having an ellipsoid of inertia (12) using a gravity center (G) as its center, wherein, when the ellipsoid of inertia (12) is virtually cut off on a plane which passes through the gravity center of the golf club head (11) and is positioned in parallel with a face surface (11f), the major axis of a plane ellipse (13) appearing on the cut-off surface and a crossed line (15) of the cut-off surface with the ground (16) forms an angle .theta., the major axis extends from the ground (16) upward as it nears a toe portion (11t), the angle .theta. is set at 0.5~ or more and 9.5~ or less, and an aspect ratio (a/b) specified by the ratio of the length (a) of the major axis (13d) of the plane ellipse (13) to the length (b) of a minor axis (13e) is 1 or more and 4 or less.
L'invention concerne une tête (11) de club de golf présentant une ellipsoïde d'inertie (12) utilisant un centre de gravité (G) en son centre. Lorsque l'on illustre l'ellipsoïde d'inertie (12) en section sur un plan traversant le centre de gravité de la tête (11) du club de golf et parallèle à une surface (11f), le grand axe d'une ellipse plane (13) apparaissant sur la surface en coupe et une droite (15) se coupent et forment un angle .theta. avec le sol (16). Le grand axe monte depuis le sol (16) à mesure qu'il se rapproche de la partie pointe (11t), l'angle .theta. est compris entre 0,5 · et 9,5· et un rapport de forme (a/b), à savoir le rapport entre la longueur (a) du grand axe (13d) de l'ellipse plane (13) et la longueur (b) d'un petit axe (13e), est compris entre 1 et 4.
