ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel advertising device for a golf cup is provided herein. The device includes a substantially doughnut-shaped annular ring member having a centre opening and having an external peripheral portion dimensioned co-axially to fit into a conventional golf cup. An advertising display is coupled to the ring member for displaying an advertisement visible to a golfer when adjacent to the golf cup. The device also includes an outer peripheral flange member extending downward from the annular ring. The outer peripheral flange member extends downward at an outward angle
