Disclosed is a putting device comprising a first or main block having a generally U-shaped opening defined by a back bight portion and two opposed leg portions, each leg portion having an inner surface, the inner surface of the leg portions being spaced laterally a predetermined distance. There is at least one small, second or auxiliary block and preferably two such blocks, the small block or blocks having a side face including means which will detachably cooperate with means on the leg(s) of the main block. An example of the means is a sliding dovetail connection between the small blocks and the inner face of at least one leg of the main block.
