A cover for the sole of a golf shoe consisting of an elastic fabric upper which fits snugly around the shoe from toe to heel, a porous foam layer to absorb the impact of golf spikes, and a flexible rubber outsole to protect the bottom surface and provide traction. The fabric upper shall attach on top of the shoes' laces and secure with a strip of Velcro* fastener. The cover shall have a loop of fabric extending vertically at the rear to aid the wearer in pulling the cover over the sole of the golf shoe.
