Abstract: Golf swing practicing article A golf swing practicing article is shorter in overall length than an ordinary golf club and is substantially rotation-symmetrical around the center axis of a shaft 10. It includes a grip member 16 disposed in the proximal region of the shaft 10, a weight section 26 disposed in the distal region of the shaft 10 and spaced from the grip position on the grip member 16, said weight section serving to increase mass in the distal side. The weight section 26 occupies 40 to 60% of the overall length in the distal side and its proximal portion is a tapered portion 38. The weight section 26 has at its distal end a receiving portion 37 for reception and removal of a weight device and increase and decrease in the number of weight members forming the weight device.
